“Angkringan is Javanese mini cafe with cheap price”

You’ll never meet any angkringan in Indonesia, except you stay in Java, especially in Yogyakarta and Central Java. This is the place where angkringan cultures begin. Recently, I have found angkringan in West Java too.

It’s only like small house cart, it may contain no more than 8 adult.

Angkringan’s offers are : 

•  Kindness, hospitable, friendly and polite service.
•  No time limitation. Just come, talk and share with other customers without feel worry you’ll be forced to away.
•  Very real social network. In Angkringan nobody care who you are and your social status.  Just enjoy it.

Yogyakarta’s nick name is student city, cause of a lot of universities and school here. And angkringan in Yogyakarta became famous cause its cheap, its student price!

In angkringan there are some menus for the costumers. Such as:

a. Nasi Kucing (Cat Rice)

It is the most popular angkringans menu. Cat Rice? Soundly weird. Yeah, it is mini package rice, named like this cause of the very little portion, cat portion! The price is not more than Rp 700 (1$ ~ Rp 10000, imagine how cheap!).  But it will be very delicious when you eat it with tempe, chicken sate, bandeng fish, etc.

b. Susu Jahe (Ginger Milk)

Almost of angkringan open in night, wish a glass of hot drink could warm the cool night. Of course it sells common drinks like tea, lime and coffee too.

c. Gorengan

Don’t know how to translate gorengan in English… Hmm, how about: fries snack? Hahaha, whatever it is, if you never taste it, then you should

d. Sate (Chicken Stuff)

Sate is small pieces of meat roasted on skewer. It can be chicken head, heart, intestine, bustard eggs, etc. Don’t you know that sometimes we should forget about fat and calories and get cheers with other people?

Basketball

Basketball is a team sport in which two teams of five players try to score points by throwing or "shooting" a ball through the top of a basketball hoop while following a set of rules. Basketball is one of the world's most popular and widely viewed sports.

While competitive basketball is carefully regulated, numerous variations of basketball have developed for casual play. Competitive basketball is primarily an indoor sport played on carefully marked and maintained basketball courts, but less regulated variations are often played outdoors in both inner city and rural areas.

Segala macam hubungan antar manusia itu mirip pasir dalam genggamanmu. Jika berada pada telapak tangan yang terbuka, pasir itu akan tetap pada tempatnya.
